Job summary

Kurita Group seeks a Senior EHS Specialist to oversee safety for water treatment construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. The role demands on-site leadership, risk assessments, and prompt incident investigations to keep crews safe and compliant with US regulations.

The candidate will coordinate with the EHS team, train workers, and ensure documentation is complete. Travel up to 10% is possible; on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in safety or related field or equivalent certifications
5 years of safety experience in relevant field
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification and OSHA 510 Construction Certification desired

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and ensure safety compliance for construction sites according to regulations and client requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments at construction sites.
Provide safety training and guidance to workers and contractors as needed.
Monitor and document compliance with safety standards throughout construction.
Investigate safety incidents and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
Participate in project meetings to address safety topics and communicate client safety requirements.
