Job summary

A recruiting firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Safety Specialist for a manufacturing client in the Kansas City area. The successful candidate will develop and implement EHS programs, conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulations. Candidates must have more than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements. Relocation assistance is available for the right applicant. This is a mid-senior level, full-time position in the science and manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and/or other regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS procedures and programs.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Skills

HSE experience in a manufacturing environment
