Job summary

FuelCell Energy is seeking a Senior EHS Coordinator to support East Coast operations from our Torrington facility. This hybrid role combines field support with manufacturing and R&D site activities, with frequent travel along the East Coast and a home base in Torrington.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in EHS, 3–5 years of experience, and strong English communication. You will drive regulatory compliance, ISO 14001/45001, and continuous safety improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 3–5 years of industry experience required.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily administration of the corporate EH&S program across East Coast facilities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; liaise with agencies as needed.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks and related records.
• Administer EH&S calendars, contractor/supplier management, and data databases.
• Prepare regulatory reports and collaborate on site EH&S improvements.
• Develop site-specific EH&S plans, programs, and training to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead EH&S training and ensure timely completion by employees.
