Job summary

QRC Group in Juncos, Puerto Rico is seeking a Sr. Associate EHS with a strong technical background to support capital projects, equipment installations, and EHS activities within regulated industrial environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in EHS or related field, and preferred CSP/ASP/OSHA certifications. You will apply knowledge of PSM, PSSR, MOC, and LOTO to manage risk, interpret drawings and specifications, and support shutdowns and start-ups while maintaining strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• EH&S regulations, industry standards, and risk management know-how.
• Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installations.
• Knowledge of PSM, PSSR, MOC and related safety systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and specs.
• Willingness to support shutdowns/startups outside normal hours.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EH&S management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects and equipment installations with EHS guidance.
• Implement EHS programs and risk controls for regulated facilities.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist during shutdowns, startups, and other project activities as needed.
• Document findings and communicate with stakeholders clearly.
