TOYO Solar Technology LLC in the Houston area is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support the development, commissioning, and operation of our new 1.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility.

You will bring hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and construction safety, with bilingual English/Spanish candidates strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on EHS professional with experience in industrial manufacturing, permitting, and compliance.
• Strong focus on construction safety and regulatory alignment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates preferred.
• Experience in solar, semiconductor, or chemical manufacturing is valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental permits and regulatory compliance involving OSHA, TCEQ, and applicable local authorities.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, safety audits, and contractor compliance reviews.
• Support construction safety, facility commissioning, startup, and ongoing manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain EHS policies, training records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
• Support hazardous waste management, fire safety approvals, environmental permitting, and risk assessments.
• Identify potential safety and environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
• Help establish and improve EHS programs to support safe, compliant, and efficient facility

TOYO Solar Technology LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support the development, commissioning, and operation of our new 1.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in the Houston area.

We are looking for a hands‑on EHS professional with strong experience in industrial manufacturing, environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and construction safety.

Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly preferred. Experience working in solar, semiconductor, photovoltaic, chemical, or other advanced manufacturing environments is highly valued.
