The Senior EHS Specialist role involves developing and implementing programs and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations at local, state, and federal levels. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and audits, acting as a liaison to the Global EHS organization, and focusing on global risk procedures such as air emissions, waste management, and stormwater protocols. The role supports site-specific environmental, health, and safety targets at the Frankfort, IN facility and the Monticello site.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Identify, evaluate, and manage potential environmental hazards and risks to employee health and safety.
2. Create, execute, and sustain EHS programs and processes.
3. Perform regular inspections and risk assessments.
4. Investigate incidents and accidents, recommending corrective actions.
5. Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance EHS awareness and drive continuous improvement.
7. Maintain site-specific compliance assurance processes.
8. Conduct employee training as per the EHS Compliance Calendar.
9. Collect sampling and data to demonstrate regulatory compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of EHS experience, including in manufacturing settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing environmental compliance, including Title V air permits and hazardous waste.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with chemical waste tracking and labeling.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Commitment to ethics, integrity, and compliance.
