Job summary

Sila is seeking an experienced EHS&S Site Manager for the Moses Lake facility to lead environmental, health, safety, process safety and sustainability efforts across research, battery operations and manufacturing.

You will develop and implement programs, engage stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor teams to sustain a culture of safety and continuous improvement at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in EHS&S with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Occupational Health or a relevant discipline
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and analytical skills with change‑management
• Proven track record driving safety engagement across an organization
• Experience with industrial workplace hazards and hazardous materials
• Experience in scaling processes and designing new tools
• Preferred: high-volume manufacturing in semiconductor, PV, chemical or battery industries, strong regulatory knowledge (OSHA/DOSH, NFPA, Fire Codes)

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS&S, Process Safety and sustainability for Moses Lake facility including research, battery operations and manufacturing
• Build and implement programs with stakeholders to foster safety culture and environmental stewardship
• Support air and water permitting and ensure regulatory compliance
• Guide department managers and employees on EHS&S matters including training and incident management
• Coordinate with property management to align operations with site requirements
• Develop, improve, and manage EHS&S and Process Safety Management Systems with site teams
