Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Dayton, TN seeks a Senior EHS Manager to lead the site’s environmental, health and safety strategies. You will drive OSHA compliance, develop safety policies, and oversee reporting, training, and worker’s compensation processes across multiple business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environment, Health, and Safety or related field required; 6–8 years of relevant experience.
5–8 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing EHS role.
Up to 15% travel.
Certification in an EHS specialty (industrial hygiene, ergonomics, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage site EHS programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
Develop and implement policies to control environmental, health and safety hazards; promote a proactive safety culture.
Manage worker’s compensation processes and coordinate with physicians and attorneys as needed.
Investigate incidents, determine root causes and drive corrective actions.
