Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is hiring an Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager for their Lansing, MI sites, responsible for ensuring compliance with all EH&S regulations and RTX requirements. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in environmental compliance and manage a team focused on safety and sustainability initiatives.

This role demands a Bachelor's degree with over 12 years of EH&S experience or an advanced degree with 10+ years. The position offers a competitive salary range between 157,200 USD and 298,800 USD along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of EH&S experience required, or an advanced degree with 10+ years of EH&S experience required.
• Management experience in a union environment preferred.
• Continuous Improvement experience such as CORE, Six Sigma, or LEAN is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of safety professionals and waste technicians.
• Responsible for multiple EH&S specialties and regulatory compliance.
• Implements initiatives for continuous improvements in compliance.

Skills

Management experience in a union environment

Strong understanding of factory equipment

Continuous Improvement experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education
