Job summary

EnTech Engineering, PC is seeking a Senior Safety / EHS Professional for field-based safety oversight on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will conduct inspections, audits, and trainings, ensuring compliance with project and agency safety requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in EHS, CSP certification, OSHA training, and strong contractor coordination. NYC-style projects are preferred; compensation starts at $156,000 annually and includes equal opportunity employer status.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety experience.
• Experience in water and wastewater construction projects; NYCDEP or similar preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and OSHA training/certification.
• Hazmat/HAZWOPER training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety activities with construction stakeholders.
• Review EHASP and prepare Safe Work Plans (SWPs).
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations on site.
• Review JHAs and daily pre-task plans; conduct on-site safety training.
