Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program across facilities, driving safety culture and operational excellence. The role partners with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily work and uses data-driven insights to reduce risk and protect personnel.

You will build a high-performing WHS team, execute risk assessments, and deliver strategic safety initiatives that align with Amazon’s safety standards and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of EHS/environmental program experience in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 5+ years of people and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive WHS program across operations, driving safety improvements.
• Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily workflows.
• Conduct risk assessments and transform safety data into actionable strategies.
• Build and coach a high-performing WHS team and foster continuous improvement.
