MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to direct and continuously improve EH&S and sustainability programs for the Fremont, CA site and the San Jose R&D facility.

You will lead regulatory compliance, ISO 14001/18001 stewardship, training, risk management and KPI reporting, partnering with operations to reduce waste and improve safety across manufacturing and development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, EHSS or related field.
• 5-8 years of EH&S experience in manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of hazardous/non-regulated waste, RCRA, SPCC and NPDES.
• Experience with ISO 14001/18001 and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically.
• Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing certifications are a plus.
• CHMM certification a plus.

Responsabilités

• Direct and improve environmental, health, safety and sustainability programs.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and 18001 management systems and audits.
• Develop procedures to meet ISO requirements and certification needs.
• Lead Environmental Management Review meetings for certifications.
• Coordinate permitting, monitoring, data collection and reporting.
• Conduct training and audits on EHS matters.
• Oversee site health, safety, security and environmental aspects.
• Champion waste reduction, recycling initiatives and ESG efforts.
• Manage PPE programs and safety-related facility activities.
• Investigate near-misses/incidents and review safety suggestions.
