Caterpillar Solar Turbines in San Diego seeks an EHS Senior Professional to lead land and water remediation efforts. You will provide critical environmental remediation guidance, groundwater management, and stormwater compliance for California facilities, coordinating with RWQCB and DTSC, and managing budgets and stakeholders.

The role requires a strong regulatory background, project management skills, and expertise in SWPPPs and SPCC plans, with a focus on risk assessment and long-term

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental engineering or related technical field.
• Experience liaising with RWQCB/DTSC or other agencies.
• Knowledge of California Industrial General Permit (IWPP) and SWPPPs.
• Experience with groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion, and long-term monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Manage soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion, and corrective action remediation projects.
• Serve as primary liaison with RWQCB/DTSC and other agencies; coordinate meetings and responses.
• Review and direct investigation reports, monitoring plans, and remediation strategies.
• Oversee consultants: scope, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and performance.
• Lead development and execution of SWPPP upgrades and spill prevention programs.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and long-term spend plans.
• Collaborate with operations, facilities, legal, engineering, and finance to ensure compliance.
