Job summary

Nordson EFD LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer II to oversee safety and security for East Providence, RI and Norwich, CT facilities. You will develop, coordinate, and administer EHS programs and lead security for both locations.

The role requires a BS degree in EHS or related field with 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing; OSHA guidelines knowledge is preferred. Travel between sites is part of this position.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering, plus 5+ years' experience in EHS compliance in industrial/manufacturing or chemical environments.
• Experience with OSHA recordkeeping guidelines and administration.

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative relationships across multiple facilities to create a zero-incident Journey to Zero culture and achieve EHS goals.
• Lead safety initiatives, behavioral safety programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Conduct Gemba walks, safety audits, and risk assessments; drive safety observation programs.
