The role emphasizes EHS management of change, machine safety, and lockout/tagout within a robotics and digital environment. You will drive proactive safety culture, align with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with multi-site teams to improve EHS performance and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with strong Occupational Safety expertise.
• Experience with Machine Safety, Permit to Work, Lock Out Tag Out and Management of Change.
• Experience identifying, evaluating, and controlling EHS risks in the workplace.
• Ability to collaborate with local EHS professionals and support multi-site EHS resources.
• Proficient in MS SharePoint and MS Office software programs.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory issues and provide recommended actions.
• Ability and willingness to travel to other locations.
• Preferred: CMSE, CIH, CHMM, CSP, ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of EHS performance for the site.
• Provide technical expertise for EHS programs including Ergonomics, Contractor Safety, Machine Safety, Risk Assessment, and Management of Change.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and J&J EHS Standards.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement a site CAPA process for EHS.
• Share best practices across sites to support a best-in-class EHS program globally.
• Set and monitor goals, provide coaching to site leaders on EHS programs.
• Review and update EHS programs (IIPP, HMBP, HAZCOM, EAP, SOPs, LOTO, etc.).
• Perform risk assessments and lead incident investigations for injuries.
