Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an EHS Engineer in San Jose, California to oversee environmental, health, and safety operations across corporate facilities. You will drive compliance programs, conduct inspections, and coordinate risk assessments for labs and manufacturing-like environments.

The role reports to the EHS Operations Manager and requires a track record of delivering high-quality results, strong organizational skills, and effective cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS operations experience.
• R&D lab or industrial facility (semiconductor or similar) operations experience.
• BA/BS in an EHS-based degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance in a portfolio of buildings including facility and lab inspections, regulatory inspections, and reporting (e.g. CERS).
• Implement and maintain EHS safety programs and support global standards locally.
• Complete risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions, and inspections in the EHS management system.
• Participate in EHS on-call rotation.
