The Apple Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team dedicated to protecting the environment, health, and safety of our employees, contractors, customers, and the global communities where we operate. As a team member, you will be instrumental in program implementation, incident review and follow-up, and continuous improvement focused on supporting Corporate operations (research and development, services, projects, maintenance etc.) at our corporate HQ and surrounding buildings. We are seeking a skilled and collaborative EHS Operations professional to join our team as an EHS Engineer. The successful candidate will be focused on ensuring business groups receive an extraordinary level of service. They must be passionate about solving problems, possess excellent organizational skills, and communicate effectively across technical disciplines. Additionally, they must have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time, taking ownership of issues and tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency, and making hard calls when needed.
The EHS Engineer will provide EHS support to various Corporate team operations and manage regulatory compliance obligations in Apple owned/operated facilities locally. They will facilitate safety risk assessments, implement and maintain EHS programs, perform building and lab inspections, conduct accident/incident investigations, provide emergency response, and provide operational EHS support of facility/lab construction projects. The role will report to the EHS Operations Manager.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,800 and $268,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
