Arthrex is a global medical device company focused on orthopedics. The Senior EHS Coordinator will independently execute routine EHS activities, drive injury-prevention initiatives, and enhance ergonomic programs across production and admin spaces in Florida.

Responsibilities include training, incident investigations, policy development, and regulatory compliance. Travel locally and abroad may be required, with flexible hours to support safety operations company-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, health, or closely related field.
• 2 years of direct professional experience in Occupational Safety, Health, or EHS.
• First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ANSI & NFPA standards.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for new employees and ongoing safety.
• Conduct incident investigations; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support the creation and maintenance of safety teams.
• Create equipment and job hazard analyses.
• Conduct ergonomic and safety assessments in offices and manufacturing areas.
• Perform air and noise surveys; manage industrial hygiene activities.
• Administer Hearing Conservation Program and regulatory documentation.
• Support hazardous, universal, biomedical waste management and SDS administration.
• Assist environmental compliance activities including waste and spill prevention.
