Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant for a fixed-term, full-time role (40 hrs/wk) with on-site work at least 3 days. Role focuses on Cal/OSHA requirements, SOPs, JHA, audits, and safety programs in a fast-paced consulting setting.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field and 7+ years of EHS experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or environmental health and safety field.
• Minimum 7 years’ EHS experience with emphasis on health and safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct team members to deliver tasks on time with quality.
• Perform audits to assess compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Provide training and field coaching to improve safety performance.
• Identify corrective actions to close audit findings.
• Develop EHS procedures, plans, permits and reports.
• Manage scope, budget and schedule to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Build client relationships and drive repeat business.
• Support ERM Partners and Project Managers in delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with ERM colleagues across teams.
