Job summary

WM is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to provide leadership in implementing programs that protect people and the environment across operations. This role ensures compliance with environmental and safety requirements including hazardous waste, materials handling, and ISO standards.

You will oversee EHS data and training, coordinate with site and customer teams, and interface with regulatory agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar degree.
• 10+ years Health & Safety/compliance experience with some training.
• 5 years manufacturing/industrial operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or remote EHS project staff guidance and support.
• Conduct safety/environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance.
• Travel to customer sites to assist in EHS program implementation.
• Create or update written programs and procedures for compliance.
• Manage DOT Driver Qualification file compliance.
• Review ISO 14001/9001 submittals and track improvements.
• Coordinate EHS training and develop training materials.
• Analyze regulatory data and advise on compliance strategy.
• Manage waste handling best practices and permit applications.
• Maintain EHS scorecards and incident data.
