Job summary

Dow in Arab, AL is seeking a Senior EH&S Technician to implement the EH&S management system and provide hands-on environmental, industrial hygiene, and health and safety activities at the plant.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of health and safety experience, U.S. work authorization, and proficiency with Word and Excel; on-call availability is expected. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or military training and manufacturing IH background.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, task level EH&S programs and procedures.
• Ensures EH&S aspects support operating discipline and goals.
• Acts as Plant resource for EH&S information and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Performs/environmental monitoring, data collection and reporting.
