Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for our Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site to implement the EH&S management system, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection.

You will lead safety programs, coach teams, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement as part of Dow's Decarbonization strategy and the Path2Zero initiative in Fort Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of EH&S, OH&S, or related experience.
• Canada work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Implements EH&S procedures and work processes.
• Maintains compliance with environmental, hygiene, and safety measures.
• Acts as SME for EH&S policies and guidance to plant personnel.
• Primary contact for EH&S concerns at the plant.
• Educates and coaches teams on EH&S best practices.
• Assists in setting EH&S targets at plant/department level.
• Verifies completion of regulatory and compliance tasks.
• Conducts environmental and industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting.
