Job summary

Arclin USA in Albany, GA is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager III to lead all EH&S activities at the plant. You will own the health, safety, and environmental protections for employees and the community, and support corporate EH&S and HR as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in EH&S/Engineering, 3–8+ years of relevant experience, and expertise in PSM/RMP. You will drive compliance, incident investigations, training, and safety communications across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in EH&S/Engineering or related field.
• 3–8+ years’ experience in environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene.
• Experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP).
• Air Permitting, Storm Water, SPCC, NPDES, Hot Work Permit, LOTO, Confined Space Program, and PSM experience; not all topics required.
• Detail Oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel skills.
• Must have floor supervisor mentality.
• Travel less than 5%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EH&S programs and policies.
• Assure compliance with state, local, and federal EH&S regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS).
• Prepare and submit EH&S monitoring and reporting for permits (Waste, Water, Air, aboveground storage tanks).
• Lead monthly site safety meetings and incident investigations; develop corrective actions.
• Support Plant Manager in capital project identification and completion; oversee safety during projects.
• Oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP) aspects.
• Lead local hourly recruitment with HR; assist with HR questions and onboarding.
