Job summary

Arclin USA in St. Clair is seeking an EH&S Manager to own all health, safety, and environmental programs at the plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead EH&S policy development and ensure regulatory compliance for safety and environmental standards.

This role supports Process Safety Management, incident investigations, training, and capital projects, with no direct reports. You will collaborate with plant staff, corporate EH&S, and HR to advance a safety-first culture and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S/Engineering or related field.
• 3–8+ years’ experience in environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene.
• Experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP).
• Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must have Advanced Excel skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EH&S programs and policies; maintain plant rules and procedures for a safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with State, Local, and Federal EH&S regulations including OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS.
• Prepare and submit EH&S monitoring and reporting for environmental permits.
• Lead monthly site safety meetings and incident investigations; determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Support Plant Manager on capital projects and contractor safety; prepare Contractor Method Statements.
