Job summary

NYU Langone Health invites applications for a Senior Electroneurodiagnostic Technician to supervise and perform routine, ambulatory, and bedside EEGs, including complex intraoperative monitoring. You will maintain electrode integrity, archive data, and support high-quality diagnostic studies across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires ABRET EEG credentials, strong communication skills, and at least three years of video EEG experience.

Qualifications

• R.EEG.T registration from ABRET is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of video EEG experience.

Responsibilities

• Shadow EEG training students and educate them on lab operations.
• Participate in continuing education and conferences as required.
• Hook up and monitor routine, ambulatory, and inpatient EEGs with correct montages.
• Prepare patients, ensure electrode integrity, and maintain recording quality.
• Detect equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot with EEG Lab Supervisor.
