Job summary

Arnold & Porter is seeking a Senior Policy Specialist to join its Chambers-ranked Legislative and Public Policy Practice Group in Washington, DC. The role will support clients on a broad range of policy matters, with a primary focus on education and education technology policy.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing legislative developments, supporting advocacy strategies, and advising on cradle to career issues such as child care, workforce, defense research, privacy, and AI

Qualifications

• Four years of federal legislative or public policy experience required.
• Bachelor's degree and strong academic credentials required.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Must be eligible to register as a lobbyist under the Lobbying Disclosure Act.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments.
• Support policy and funding advocacy strategies.
• Advise clients on cradle to career issues, including education, child care, and AI policy.
