Job summary

Recorded Future, Inc. is seeking an EDR Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise EDR platforms across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. The role supports incident response, threat hunting, and cloud workload protection in multi-cloud setups.

You will focus on policy engineering, telemetry integrity, and extensible tooling integrations while maintaining documentation and after-hours support as needed. Remote-first full-time position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years managing EDR solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux internals and logging.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and proxy configurations for agent-to-console communication.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR integrations and threat hunting.
• Relevant certifications such as GCFA/GCIA or platform-specific administrator certs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, lifecycle management and configuration of multiple EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint).
• Develop and refine detection policies and indicators to improve alert fidelity.
• Manage security deployments across multi-cloud environments with consistent telemetry.
• Maintain integrations between EDR consoles and SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Assist IR during incidents with containment and live response scripting.
• Document SOPs, change management records, and configuration baselines.
