Job summary

NBCUniversal in Stamford, CT seeks a senior leader to transform editorial systems powering Olympics, NBC Sports, and live event coverage. This role reports to VP, Research & Editorial and blends data science with editorial deployment to support on-air talent and production teams.

You will drive real-time information access, lead workshops, and collaborate across departments and vendors to enable faster, more accurate decision making for high-profile events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in premier sports, editorial/research and information systems.
• Strong ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Proven track record leading complex initiatives under tight deadlines.
• Experience blending data with narrative for editorial decision making.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Transform how information is captured, input, and output for key events in real time.
• Lead editorial research efforts and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Train editorial researchers and provide real-time support.
• Partner with cross-department and external vendors to drive innovation.
• Lead workshops and demonstrations with talent and production leadership.
