Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Senior Multimedia Editor / Content Manager to lead editorial strategy and produce high-quality content across text, video, and visuals for Intelligence and News audiences. • Editorial leadership in shaping thought leadership and commercial content across text, video, and visuals.
• Manages full content lifecycle from planning to packaging for web, social, and sales.
• Translates complex narratives into compelling content with strong brand voice and accuracy.
• Hands-on multimedia production and post-production with publishing across formats.

Responsibilities

• Lead editorial planning across intelligence and news content pillars.
• Produce and commission long-form and short-form content including reports, POVs, blogs, and executive briefings.
• Extract and develop quotes, data insights, and leadership angles from research and material.
• Repurpose content for web, sales, and social distribution across formats.
• Prioritize high-impact reusable content for campaigns and sales conversations.
• Act as editorial guardian for brand voice and messaging.
• Edit, fact-check, QA content for accuracy and alignment with guidelines.
• Maintain tone-of-voice docs and content standards with Head of Marketing & Growth.
• Ensure visual consistency and narrative discipline across channels over time.
• Lead video concepts, scripts, pre-production, and direction.
• Manage freelancers and editors to ensure brand alignment.
• Define platform-specific social strategies and monthly content calendar with Marketing Coordinator.
• Write post copy and brief visuals/video assets for organic social channels.
• Support community management and audience engagement on owned platforms.
• Own freshness and accuracy of content across Storyful's web properties.
• Apply discoverability practices for findability and organic performance.
• Collaborate across marketing to align with campaigns and GTM strategies.
• Contribute to assets and messaging for campaigns and A/B testing.
• Support landing page and CTA optimization with content improvements.
• Contribute to event/webinar programming and content capture.
• Maintain knowledge resources like playbooks and asset libraries.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to support sales conversations and client engagement.
