Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a senior editor to transform expertise and research into compelling thought leadership for financial advisors. You will partner with editorial strategy leaders, researchers, portfolio managers, and marketing to identify priority stories, shape narratives, and produce advisor-focused content.

You will write, edit, and curate articles, studies, and presentations, translating complex topics into clear, differentiated insights while upholding Vanguard's voice and standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in editorial strategy, financial journalism, content development or related fields.
• Experience writing and editing for Financial Advisory markets.
• Experience in wealth management, asset management, or investment research.
• Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable content for professionals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with editorial strategy leaders to develop content agendas.
• Identify trends and high-impact storytelling opportunities for financial advisors.
• Shape narratives and platforms across priority topics for advisor audiences.
• Translate research, data, and subject-matter expertise into editorial concepts.
• Write and edit advisor-facing articles, research, presentations, and scripts.
• Collaborate with researchers, PMs, executives, and marketing to ensure quality.
• Balance multiple priorities while maintaining high editorial standards and deadlines.
