Job summary

Mansueto Ventures is seeking a Senior Editor to edit opinion and thought leadership articles produced by members of its executive membership communities across the Inc. and Fast Company brands. The ideal candidate will be a skilled line editor who helps non-journalists craft jargon-free pieces that resonate with a broad business audience.

The role will report to the Inc. and Fast Company Custom Studio and collaborate with the Head of Community and consumer marketing teams.

Qualifications

7+ years business journalism experience or equivalent.
Ability to edit drafts from business executives that are non-journalists in a timely and efficient manner.
Strong editorial judgement with flexibility for opinion, first-person, and thought leadership.
Strong collaboration and editorial management skills in a high production volume environment.
Proficiency with word processing software; Airtable is a plus.

Responsibilities

Line edit and copy edit content written by members of the Inc. and Fast Company communities.
Provide courteous, consistent feedback on drafts with specific advice on writing, organization, and tone.
Monitor content for plagiarism, AI usage, and adherence to edit guidelines.
Operate within an existing workflow to ensure timely publication of member content.
