Job summary

Forbes is seeking an enterprising journalist who can design and execute data-driven lists and rankings of top CPAs. The role sits in the editorial team and collaborates with growth, marketing, revenue and SEO to build high-quality content and revenue-generating lists.

You will manage nominations, data analysis, reporting, and multi-channel publication across articles, video, photography and social campaigns, with potential to represent the brand to industry leaders and partners.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of writing and editing in a digital newsroom.
• Deep sourcing experience in the accounting field.
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with stakeholders and deadlines.
• Capability to turn large data sets into a compelling consumer story.
• Experience managing writers, both staff and freelance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing, Growth, Revenue, and SEO to align content strategy with business objectives.
• Lead creation of revenue-generating 'best-of' lists and accounting industry rankings.
• Develop rigorous quantitative and qualitative methodologies to evaluate excellence.
• Oversee the full editorial lifecycle from nominations to final reporting.
• Write, assign, and edit high-impact articles and profiles across channels.
• Represent Forbes to industry leaders, external partners, and audiences.
