Job summary

Meet Life Sciences Ltd. is seeking a Senior Editor to join its US Editorial team, editing promotional and educational materials for both HCP and DTC audiences while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes quality, science, and delivering exceptional work for clients. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in healthcare communications, familiarity with FDA regulations and the AMA Manual of Style, and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced healthcare/medical communications agency.
• Strong experience editing promotional and educational materials for both HCP and DTC audiences.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, including fair balance and safety requirements.
• Familiarity with the AMA Manual of Style.
• Confidence editing in both US and UK English.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Editing a range of promotional and educational materials, including cold reads, must-match reads, and client/internal changes.
• Editing across both print and digital projects.
• Creating, maintaining, and applying editorial style sheets for assigned accounts.
• Reviewing and providing feedback on work from staff and freelance editors.
• Collaborating closely with Client Services, Copy, Strategy, Creative, Studio, and Document Systems.
• Managing competing priorities and ensuring work is delivered accurately and on deadline.
• Applying strong editorial judgment, particularly when working against demanding timelines.
• Staying current with pharmaceutical compliance codes and evolving language requirements.
• Supporting internal training and onboarding.

I’m currently partnering with an independent healthcare communications agency that is growing its US Editorial team and looking for a Senior Editor to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced medical communications editor who is passionate about quality, accuracy, science, and delivering exceptional work for clients.
