Job Title: Senior eDiscovery Technician

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join our legal team supporting a large Federal agency. We offer a dynamic environment that fosters professional growth and innovation.

This range is provided by CGS Federal (Contact Government Services). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $69,888.00/yr - $100,949.33/yr

Employment Details

Type: Full Time, Mid-Level

Department: Legal

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and provide brief descriptions of productions.
• Obtain passwords for encrypted media when no password is provided.
• Assess whether cover letters contain substantive information for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions using multiple protections; follow protocols if issues are detected.
• Copy virus-free productions to the Agency's network.
• Follow specific handling protocols for various document types.
• Analyze productions to determine processing requirements and completeness.
• Coordinate scanning and off-site processing of large paper productions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' eDiscovery technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of information resources and excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with government software policies.
• Client-facing communication experience.
• Federal security clearance.
