Job summary

CGS, a government-focused IT and legal services provider, seeks an eDiscovery Program Manager to join a fast-paced legal team. The role supports multiple government accounts, leading staff, coordinating security onboarding, timekeeping, and daily operations while ensuring deliverables meet contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Discovery Program contractor staff management support, including supervision, scheduling and coverage.
• Oversee administrative logistics: notify Government of schedule changes, allocate tasks, document daily activities and location changes.
• Ensure daily time entry is recorded by all contract staff.
• Coordinate onboarding for new contract staff with FBI security, IT, and other admin units.
• Mentor and assist new team members in daily tasks; address performance or personnel issues promptly.
• Manage client expectations and deliverables; communicate clearly with clients.
• Initiate process improvement initiatives and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Provide technical and eDiscovery subject matter expertise across the full life cycle of program resources.
• Participate in teleconferences or meetings to support program objectives and reporting.
• Assist with managing the Legal Clerical mailbox and tasks; develop and track schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Support Change Requests and Contract Modifications with relevant information and analysis.
• Monitor scheduled system maintenances; review logs and reports to verify task completion.
• Review and report technical assessments including time frames and effort for scope projects.
• Oversee Veritas eDiscovery and Microsoft Exchange/Windows server administration and IT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with RFQ schedules and costs; provide cost and staffing estimates for tasks and future needs.
• Plan, organize, direct and support all activities identified in the contract; meet 24/7 requirements as needed.
• Prepare reports and communicate policies, goals and procedures to subordinates; ensure RFQ performance and quality.
