Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Senior EDIFecs Developer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package. Please note we are unable to provide sponsorship or work visa for this role.

Role Overview

The Senior EDIFecs Developer is a full stack engineer who designs, develops, and integrates solutions to meet business and technical requirements across EDI applications. The candidate must be passionate about technology, coding, and problem-solving. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and management. A motivated team member who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software.
2. Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code.
3. Simplify and improve existing application code, ensuring high unit test coverage.
4. Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks.
5. Collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, Scrum Masters, Software Engineers, and external teams to deliver value to customers.
6. Stay updated on current and emerging technologies, industry trends, and standards.
7. Mentor junior engineers.

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Several years of software development experience with a proven track record of production-ready solutions.
• Deep understanding of database concepts: schema design, optimization, scalability, etc.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB.
• Experience with continuous integration and source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, TFS.
• Proficiency in EDI applications: Edifecs, BizTalk, SSIS, and their components.
• Working knowledge of XN transactions, HL messages, and FHIR.
• Experience with WCF, Web Services, Java, C, .NET framework, SQL / SSIS development related to EDI.
• Experience with API Apps and API Management Portal.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Servers.

Desired Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS services such as Lambda, S, DynamoDB.
• Experience with Scrum / SAFe Agile Framework.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
