What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Senior EDI Developer to join our team on a contract basis as we upgrade our current system to S/4 Hana. The EDI Developer will integrate our new EDI system, coordinate with trading partners and work with our functional S/4 teams. They will implement robust system capabilities, troubleshoot support issues, execute test cases, and develop new functional requirements for all Amer Sports North American operations.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpret EDI partner system requirements and specifications
  • Develop dynamic processes for EDI ANSI X12 functions
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with external and internal partner interfaces
  • Offer plausible solutions to functional issues as they occur
  • Work with business and EDI teams to implement system enhancements
  • Assist with Ecommerce and B2B teams to troubleshoot issues
  • Provide daily support and training to the business users as necessary

This is a 1099 contract opportunity starting in March 2025 and lasting throughout the duration of the project until go-live (estimated May 2026) with potential opportunity to extend through September 2026.

What We're Looking For

This role requires at least 10 years of experience in EDI development with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP S/4 and IBM Sterling B2Bi.

Other qualifications include:

  • IBM Sterling B2Bi system integration experience is required
  • SAP ABAP development including object-oriented coding
  • SAP ALE/IDOC processing with SD, SCM and FI
  • SAP PI and XML with JAVA a plus
  • SAP BTP knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge with AS2, FTP, other communications is a plus
