Job summary

Info Way Solutions is seeking an experienced software engineer for a hybrid role in Chicago, IL or Lafayette, LA. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software, ensuring clean, secure, and modular code with strong test coverage.

The position requires 7+ years of experience, deep database knowledge, and expertise in EDI tools like Edifecs and BizTalk. Collaboration with multiple teams and mentoring responsibilities are part of the job.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development with production-ready solutions.
Deep understanding of database schema design, optimization and scalability.
Experience with MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB.
Experience with CI and source control (GitLab, GitHub, TFS).
Proficient in EDI apps Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS and components.
Knowledge of X12N, HL7 and FHIR.
WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET, SQL/SSIS for EDI.
Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent work experience.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Passion for technology, coding and problem solving.
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high quality software.
Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code.
Improve existing application code with high unit test coverage.
Identify problems and resolve bottlenecks.
Collaborate with product owners, QA, Scrum Masters, and engineers to deliver value.
Stay current with technologies and industry trends.
