Job summary

Vizient is seeking an experienced integration engineer to design, develop, and support Boomi-driven EDI, API, and enterprise integrations across the eCommerce and business ecosystem.

You will build data transformations, maps, and connectivity using X12 EDI, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP, AS2, and SFTP, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to deliver scalable solutions. This hybrid role is based in Dallas, TX with 3 in-office days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting EDI, API, and enterprise integration solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere.
• Experience with Boomi maps and processes for X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat-file, API, and integration.
• Strong data mapping, transformation, validation, routing, and exception handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Boomi integrations (EDI, API).
• Develop Boomi maps, data transformations, and workflows.
• Design integrations for X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat-file, API.
• Translate partner requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build data transformation and orchestration across systems.
• Onboard new trading partners: requirements, mapping, testing.
• Establish secure connectivity via AS2, SFTP, APIs.
• Develop REST and SOAP API integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across systems.
• Create reusable integration templates and patterns.
• Support monitoring, logging, observability.
• Collaborate with teams to implement integrations.
• Explore automation/AI-assisted development for productivity.
• Participate in Tier 2 support and on-call rotations.
• Hybrid work in Dallas (Irving), 3 days in office.
