Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to implement, configure, and support EDI systems, ensuring reliable data exchanges with external partners. You will set up and test transactions (850, 810, 856), monitor transmissions, troubleshoot data issues, and maintain comprehensive EDI documentation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into EDI configurations, run SQL queries, and contribute to system enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in EDI with a strong understanding of EDI and business applications
• Boomi Platform experience
• Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and data transmission protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP)
• Experience reading, building, and running SQL queries
• Ability to manage all phases of the Project Life Cycle and ensure quality processes

Responsibilities

• Set up, configuration, and testing of EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856) with trading partners
• Monitor and troubleshoot EDI data transmissions for data integrity and errors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into EDI configurations
• Develop and maintain EDI documentation including mappings and technical specs
• Provide day-to-day support for EDI processes and issue resolution
• Conduct regular testing with partners and vendors for smooth integrations
• Maintain EDI software, tools, and systems and assist in enhancements
