Job summary

The Eddy Current Level III NDI Technician supports the Aircraft Maintenance Group at Tinker AFB by conducting critical inspections to ensure aircraft structural integrity and compliance with USAF standards. This role specializes in eddy current inspections and may support other NDI methods as qualified.

The ideal candidate will hold Level III Eddy Current certification and have 3+ years of aircraft NDI experience; EVI certification or Eddy MAUS experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aircraft-related NDI experience.
• Certification as Level III in Eddy Current per NAS 410, ASNT, or equivalent military standard.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals and inspection procedures.
• Active Secret Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform Level III eddy current inspections on aircraft components and systems.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and records.
• Interface with quality assurance and maintenance teams to communicate inspection results.
• Support additional NDI methods within certification scope if needed.
• Maintain certification and training currency in assigned NDI methods.
