St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA, seeks a Senior Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department to provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and achievement of departmental goals.

This Full Time role reports to the ACNO and oversees clinical operations, workforce leadership, and resource management. The position emphasizes quality, regulatory readiness, staffing optimization, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (required)
• 5+ years Emergency Department clinical RN experience and 2+ years management experience
• Training in Performance Improvement, Total Quality Management, and/or Continuous Quality Improvement.
• Master's degree preferred
• ACLS, BLS & PALS certification required

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership and Clinical Oversight of the ED.
• People Leadership and Workforce Development, recruitment and onboarding.
• Quality, Safety, and Performance Improvement initiatives in the department.
• Strategic Staffing and Resource Management with budget planning.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and care teams to improve care coordination.
