Job summary

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission seeks an Economist at the GS-0110-13 to serve in the Expert Analysis Division, Office of General Counsel.

You will analyze employment discrimination cases and provide expert opinions and guidance to management, trial attorneys, and others involved in economic analyses. Qualifications

• Degree in economics with at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.
• Or combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics plus appropriate experience or education.
• PhD in Economics with specialization in Labor Economics or related Microeconomics area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert opinions and direction to management, trial attorneys, and others in the analysis of employment discrimination cases.
• Develop and present microeconomic analyses of administrative data to support EEOC programs and decisions.
