Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a senior software engineer with ecommerce payments experience to join our in‑flight connectivity and shopping platform. The role focuses on building scalable microservices on AWS, delivering RESTful APIs, and enabling CI/CD across the stack.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development, strong Java/Spring Boot, and experience with NodeJS/ReactJS. Hybrid work in Irvine, CA is available with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years software development experience.
• Experience with ecommerce/payments domains is a plus.
• Experience in avionics or highly-regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implements and modifies eCommerce application software based on Agile epics and user stories.
• Creates and maintains test applications to enable CI/CD of the eCommerce solution.
• Maintains software through the full lifecycle.
• Documents architecture designs and data/logic/flow diagrams.
• Troubleshoots issues across OS, DB, Backend, UI and network across environments.
