Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is seeking a Senior Manager, eCommerce Merchandising to own onsite merchandising across Fender.com, Jackson.com, and PreSonus.com. You will set standards, manage the promotional calendar, and lead launches while coaching a small team.

Responsibilities include optimizing browse and discovery, ensuring catalog quality, and coordinating with Marketing on photography and rich media needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Digital Merchandising, Marketing and/or eCommerce experience.
• 7+ years of experience on a major eCommerce platform (Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar); Shopify experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of Product Information Management as it relates to digital merchandising.
• Strong analytics instincts with hands-on experience in Amplitude, ContentSquare, Google Analytics, Segment, or Tableau.
• Experience owning promotional planning and on-site execution.
• Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and content best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own how product is presented site-wide with visual merchandising standards and content hierarchy.
• Manage browse and discovery end-to-end including category taxonomy, navigation, on-site search relevance, sort logic, and category-page curation.
• Ensure catalog quality and product data drive merchandising across the catalog.
• Lead on-site promotional planning, calendar, and execution against DTC activation plans.
• Oversee go-to-market for new product launches and campaigns, including landing experiences and launch-day readiness.
• Coordinate with marketing on photography and rich media needs to support merchandising.
• Partner with VP, eCommerce and Optimization Manager on revenue-focused plans.
• Support inventory planning and reserved-inventory management to hit revenue and margin goals.
• Build an evidence-based understanding of shoppers using heatmaps, analytics to drive merchandising actions.
• Benchmark competitors and support personalization roadmap.
