Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Engineering or related field.
• 12 years of professional software development experience, with Java/backend focus.
• 7 years building highly available, performant distributed systems.
• 5 years designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
• 5 years cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• 5 years in CI/CD, DevOps, and modern Git workflows.
• 5 years in frameworks such as Spring Boot, NodeJS, ReactJS.
• Telecommuting Optional – May work from any location within normal commuting distance of Dublin, California.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of Ecommerce and microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Design cloud-based solutions with emphasis on Google Cloud Platform.
• Guide portfolio decisions and align technical roadmaps with business goals.
