CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal/state/local projects within CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will assist with risk assessments, develop data quality objectives, QA plans, SAPs, and contribute to CSEM/HHRA/SLERA/BERA work. Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and client-facing oversight will be part of the

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science; professional scientist registration/certification preferred.
• 7 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Mansioni

• Support site investigations and data interpretation for HHRA and ERA.
• Assist in development of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Plan and prepare CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs and BERAs of varying complexity.
• Collaborate with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
• Provide technical evaluation of client documents on oversight projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training within the discipline.
• Support proposals with sales teams in response to RFPs.
• Contribute to technical knowledge with white papers on environmental issues.
• Present at conferences to improve visibility of firm’s services.
• Perform other duties as required.
