Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA seeks an Echocardiographer for full-time day shifts, performing Echo, Stress Echo, TEE and Doppler studies across multiple lab environments. Requires registry within 12 months, BLS/ACLS within 90 days, and 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required).
• Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS (Required within 90 days)
• ACLS (Required within 90 days)
• Echocardiographer experience (1 year minimum required)

Responsibilities

• Performs Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Doppler ultrasound.
• Works in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside with patients.
• Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.
• Performs two-dimensional echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities.
• Evaluates heart disease and blood flow abnormalities and documents findings.

Salary and Compensation

• $42.23 - $62.80 hourly.
• Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
• Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Unit has 5 rooms for Echos.
• Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound.
• Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.
• Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities.
• Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.
