Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography; meets ARDMS/CCI guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in sonography or related field.
• Competency in routine Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
• Must be registered through ARDMS/CCI guidelines within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive and invasive cardiology and vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive cardiology and vascular diagnostic exams.
• Supervises student sonographers and assists with training.
• Ensures high quality images and proper documentation.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborates with providers to ensure optimal patient care.
