Job summary

Zetec is seeking an Eddy Current Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the principal technical expert for Eddy Current Testing (ECT) in their Snoqualmie, WA manufacturing site. The role supports EC probe production through advanced electrical engineering, mechanical understanding, troubleshooting leadership, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Product Management teams.

The ideal candidate will ensure robust test processes, develop technical training, and assist with probe and coil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years experience in NDT industry; EC/NDT applications a plus.
• Strong electrical engineering foundation with hands-on mechanical or hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for EC probe manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of instruments, probes, and software; troubleshoot issues and update work instructions.
• Review and document QC test requirements, methods, and work instructions.
• Deliver training on EC principles, instrument use, and test procedures.
• Support coil design, probe revisions, prototype testing, and feasibility studies.
• Assist Product Management and Customer Service with EC probe inquiries.
